A stunning 26% polled believe Obama deserves Nobel.

Breitbart reports Obama’s gaggle of science advisors’ are denying the fraudulent data has any effect on the end result that man is causing global warming – all while the overwhelming evidence of the opposite mounts against them each and every day.  Even NASA is on the climate scam. Following the money has never been a more evident and relevant cliche.

The new age of transparency promised ad nauseum by President Obama has been and is pure bs.  Boxer, Holdren, Gore, 95% of Hollywood, and your coastal leftist elites, are in full defense mode behaving like 4th graders caught passing notes in class.

Not only are we being lied to on every issue this nation faces, we’re being given the hand by democrats in their headlong rush to legislate and tax our nation into Europe Beta 2.0.

The opt out plan proposed by Democrats will cause turmoil inside States with Republican governorships, argues Andrew Sullivan. The premise is that states where Republicans govern will be opted out and the constituents will want to know why they cant get for “free” what democrat states are getting.

While it may be right to oppose this health care takeover altogether, once it passes (and it eventually will), state leaders will be faced with angry citizens who will feel cheated for not getting benefits that others are getting, especially knowing that they are paying for it anyway.

The crux of Sullivan’s point is that Republican leaders will be screwed and that’s precisely why the Opt Out plan is being pushed by the Obama Adminstration.

It’s hard to argue otherwise.

While WorldNetDaily and Drudge focus their headlines on Obama’s team admitting they try to manipulate the media nd what reporter’s cover (let’s face it, all politicians try to spin the media), the bigger elephant in the room is Communication Director Dunnn’s proclamation of admiration for one of the most brutal leaders in world history - Chinese communist Mao Tse-tung.

Hat tip to Fox once again for reporting stories that the alphabet news channels refuse to cover:

Yahoo’s own news page speaks volumes on the Obama’s lack of insight into the war on terror:
(Or one must honestly admit he does know and is purposefully giving the Taliban terrorists power in goverment)

Bungler in Chief or Traitor ?  You decide.

Politicians Never Get It

It never seems to dawn on political leaders or their “advisors”, that we dont want spin.  We want results, especially when it comes to our military and winning wars.

Snippet from the Telegraph:
“An adviser to the administration said: People aren’t sure whether McChrystal is being naïve or an upstart. To my mind he doesn’t seem ready for this Washington hard-ball and is just speaking his mind too plainly.”

This is the mindset a little more than half our population voted for  and at least 40% will blindly support no matter bad things become.

When the Stars Go Blue

starsAs I puff away my cigarette at midnight, I’m in awe of the stars.  Thousands pinned to the blackness above me and I’m saddened to know I’ll never be closer to any one of them as I am right now.  Im sad to think they’re randomly positioned by a violent cosmic birth, their trajectory increasing, expanding, heading to an unkown end as does everything before and after we’re gone.

I’m sad to think there could have been a creator – who abandoned it.  Did “He” create more life somewhere, or has it sprang from some long microbiotic misadventure?  Are we alone. Is there a purpose.  Why.

The cigarette winks out,

The stars fade from my mind.

As much as they’ll never know or care that I ever existed, I now feel the same about the universe.

Besides, stars dont have breasts.

The Social Value of Twitter

If I wanted to have every ambiguous, benign, uninteresting thought ripped from my skull and shared in detail with every family member, neighbor, and friend – I’d get married.

Horrifying.

I came across this post on few different forums.  I’m unable to find the original author within a 15 minute search and 10+ websources  – here you go, crack open a beer and enjoy:

Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.

The two most important events in all of history were:
1. The invention of beer, and
2. The invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer, and the beer to the man.
These facts formed the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:
1. Liberals
2. Conservatives.

beerOnce beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That’s how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to BB Q at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement.
Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly BBQ’s and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.
Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men.
Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy and group hugs, the evolution of the Hollywood actor, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide all the meat and beer that conservatives provided.

Over the years, Conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.
Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of liberal women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn’t fair to make the pitcher also bat.

Conservatives drink domestic beer. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, Marines, and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.

Here ends today’s lesson in world history…….
It should be noted that a liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before forwarding it.

A conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers, and to more liberals…just to **** them off.

Have a great day

Wheel In The Sky

Well, almost.

When things go this wrong and no one gets hurt, it’s ok to laugh.

The driver’s side front “bearing hub assembly” came apart and my wheel came off as I was rounding a left hand turn this morning.  The rotor, hub, caliper, rim and tire all broke loose from the vehicle and by all rights should have took off rolling down the highway.

No doubt this is going to cost big bucks to fix, but I really dont care.  With all of the miles I drive on the Interstates and Tollroads every day this EASILY could have happened differently.  If this would have happened at my usual 80MPH clip on the xpressway, I’d not be here tonight laughing about the wheel coming off, and probably a few other commuter families would be less a member or two at the dinner table tonight.

Sighing with relief, I’m laughing it off.

Moral of the story:  Dont assume squeaking is always just the brakes.
