I havent seen Dave in 10 years since my wedding reception……perhaps it’s good he missed the sad years that ensued for me.
Dave and me were roommates in a small apartment when I was 17 and still in high school, plus working a full time job. We worked together at Mobil gas station in our teens and hung out in cycles for another decade.
We kept in touch over the years except the sticky note i had his number on went missing………
Dave’s the kind of guy to fill a prophylactic with mayonnaise and stretch it on your doorknob at 4am. (And the kind of guy to get a plate of nachos n chili with a tampon on top at his doorstep at 4:30am)
Well thanks to my dear dear friend Kimmy who also knew Dave from “back in the day” (must add that phrase to Peeve list) and found my old buddy for me through a relative of his and her endless string of people she knows. Thank you Kimmy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Big Dave my buddy, Im really happy we finally got to hang out again and look forward to keeping in better touch for now on.
