Would you be willing to erase 1/7th of your past, and give up 1/7th of your future life? Let’s just start off with Tuesdays.
As far back as I can remember, from elementary school to this very day, there’s been an overriding attitute by mostly everyone that Mondays indeed Suck. (that would be sUx0rz for some)
Was Loverboy right, with “everone’s working for the weekend”?
Is it simply people are upset that Friday is a mere 5 days away? What do you do on your Fridays that cannot be done on Mondays? Why do most of the weekdays get shortthrift of life’s compliments and planning unlike Fridays?
Unless one’s sole life ambition is to go get hammered at the night club or bar, there isnt much difference in the day to day activities one can enjoy.
As unhappy and depressing as my life can be at times, I couldnt imagine shearing off 10 years of it. That’s assuming I live to be 70.
Think of all that would be lost by giving up Mondays.
-Caressing your loved one while watching TV
-Fumbling through a long forgotten formula while you “help” with your child’s homework.
-The loving and loyal (and always hungry) eyes of the dog staring up while you try to eat dinner.
-Exchanging messages with your friends.
-The pride and feeling of accomplishment for a job well done at work.
-Helping a coworker, and making their day a little easier.
The list is endless really, depending on you how involved you are with life.
I for one, am happy today. Im breathing in and out, my 16 year old son is over for a couple of weeks, and I meet new interesting people every day.
I am taking him to see him Xmen 3 tonight.
I love Mondays.
